Have to register it as a boat because of trolling motor probably have to license it as a trailer to legally pull it on road

Really neat Dbed. My uncle had very similar with a gas trolling motor. Steel 55 gallon drums in Minnesota. It was 45 years ago.

I have always wanted a Pontoon boat and that design is truly where the Pontoon Boats have evolved from.

Thanks for sharing

Nice pontoon. My dad and friend made one when I was growing up. The problem is they made the motor mount wrong and one fishing trip the motor jump off the mount and went in the lake and dad cought it but was to late and the water destroyed the motor.

Dbed,
I really like your pontoon. Tuff sea trials sound like. Keep moving forward.

I'm impressed! I'd make a couple suggestions tho move weight forward ie battery, cooler. Second get another barrel or two and make nosecones for the front at least. But what do I know.

You're right, I failed to move batteries and trolling motor to front of boat. Have barrels to make nose cones haven't done that yet

Thanks for the positive feedback. Fishing hole looks better than it is. I'm hoping being able to fish the whole lake will help. Asked others Fishing there one said they caught 12 crappie 12 ins long and a bunch of bluegill 8 to 10 in but didn't show me any fish no fish to show no fish caught, right

Ohio it needs registered. Kayaks even have a registration. Now that's Ohio. How other states have it may vary.
