Hello
Sorry man. Do the best you can, and never give up!
Thanks ! Been doing just that for about ten years now ! Were I the type to give up, I'd have died of 'lead poisoning' many years ago ! What was that really popular expression from the 70s ? Oh, yeah ! - "Keep on truckin' !"

I am 81 and understand what you are going thru. Not much fun. Big ideas but body does not want to cooperate.
Don’t give up. Keep trying to catch that big one I lost once, I think.

Thanks, but I've already managed to have my best fishing season ever back in N.H. around '05 or '06, not sure which ! Between mid-April and late-May, I managed to land two 18-in.
rainbows, one 16-in. brookie, and one brownie that came in at 22-in./
3-1/4 lbs. ! Around mid-June, while fishing along the edge of a grassy area in a small back cove at a nearby lake and catching a mess of 'sunnies' and yellow perch, I hooked a small (palm-sized) sunfish and started reeling it in ! About a minute later, my rod bends over nearly double and is almost yanked out of my hand; now, I find myself in a tug-of-war with the largest bass I'd ever hooked ! Had to lay on my stomach between a large boulder and a tree to reach down to the water level and try to land it ! Finally got my thumb in his mouth, tossed it in a short arc to the shrubs at my feet, then eventually managed to roll over and get back up ON to my feet to look at my bass ! That little bugger came in at 5-3/4 lbs./ 22-1/2 in. ! Best bass ever ! And for
me, that was one HELL of a fishing season !
Sorry if I tend to get a little long-winded in my blogs; just my writing style, I guess ! Hoping things will improve now that I'm in Arizona, as the bass are bigger here; state record (over 16 lbs.) and most real lunkers come out of Canyon Lake ! While most bass out of Saguaro Lake aren't quite as big, there are plenty in the 4-lb. to 6-lb.
range, and a fair number in the 8-lb. to 12-lb. range !
Pleasant Lake is well-known for big stripers; record is 45.7 in./28.5 lbs., and the Colorado River record is even bigger ! Then there're the catfish; channel record is over 33 lbs. and flathead record is over 76 lbs.! Just wish I had my own boat or canoe, as rentals are expensive and fishing from shore won't get you nearly the size, quantity, or access to the more decent catches !
While there are some really decent fish in the Community Lakes/Ponds, it just doesn't seem/feel the same as natural waters !
Well, here's hoping for bigger/better fish in the near future !

Doctor who diagnosed me
(back in N.H.) said there wasn't much that could be done except to take my Ibuprofen (800mg.) when it got too painful to bear ! Now my current doctor tells me I have to cut back on those as it's beginning to damage my liver, although I
only took them when absolutely needed ! No one's said anything about any possible procedure, so I just take things at face
value ! Even with Medicare, current financial situation precludes that possibility !
We have been through the same ordeal back and body aches. My wife recommended to see a chiropractor... Boy!!! She was So On Target with that solution . We use the offices of “ the Joint” in the Valley area. They have several doctors on board. Check it out on their website. Then You will be set for....Fish On!!

NEVER EVER
So, How's the fishing? dirtclod Az.
Haven't been out much due to financial difficulties; can't afford a license ! My buddy and I did manage a trip up to Willow Springs Lake on June 2nd (Free Fishing Day); I caught one rainbow, one brookie a one tiger trout, while he caught one rainbow at Willow Springs and another one at Black Canyon Lake ! Biggest catch was just over 13 inches ! He's not fond of what he considers to be 'long haul' trips, but he was happy we didn't get skunked again (which we did last year) ! Looking forward to finally getting my license (soon?) so that I can get out there and (at least) drown a few worms !

Can't do that on my budget and I doubt Medicare would cover it ! Getting near the end, anyway ! Life expectancy for males in my family (genetically speaking) is around 75; have already exceeded my own expectancy (from my youth) by 35 years ! Lost two younger siblings already, one male, one female, at 54 and 56 years
respectively ! Just have to grin and bear it for the duration, I guess !
Hi Alphonse, my name is Chris Bednar it's very nice to meet you on here, this site is Fantastic full of a lot of Helpful People I am so Glad I found this Place I was going to suggest maybe trying some CBD Oil from what I've heard it is Awesome Stuff for all kinds of ailments and it's legal I believe CVS carries it if not there are shops specifically that carry it I Hope this can Help You Out, Please keep US Posted on Your Situation! Take Care and Good Luck!!!!!!
Thanks for the good cheer
and emotional support; it is much appreciated ! Here in Az., not only is there CBD, but cannabis is legal with a medical card, but there is one major legal obstruction to getting a card ! If you want a card, you can't own guns, and if you already have guns, you can't get approved ! I have owned rifles and shotguns since I turned 16, and pistols/handguns since I was 21; NOT about to give them up for the card ! Have also 'indulged' for over 50 years, but don't smoke tobacco (just 'high-test'); it helps relax my back and reduce the pain consider-ably ! Just prefer higher levels of THC to CBD !
Again, thanks for the concern ! ( BTW, although I signed on to the blog with my full name, I much prefer just 'Al' for short !)
Welcome Al for short.
CBD gummies.
All CBD products are not of the same quality.
No Problem Al, I wasn't aware of that law is that just in AZ ? Yeah THC is definately the stronger of the 2 strains I believe it cures Cancer Personally, however that's just My Opinion!!!! Glad to Help, will continue to think of other Possibilities for You!!!! Take Care!!!!!
Al.
