Remember this?
" Nobody likes me
Everybody hates me
Guess I'll go eat worms
Great big gooshy ones
Little bitty squishy ones
Ones that crawl and squirm
Bite their heads off
Schloup their juice out
Throw their skins away
Nowbody knows how man can thrive
On worms three times a day."
Picked this up fishing at a cubscout campout.

Well, that's a new one on ME... My brother was a Cub Scout for a bit... My Grampa (who'd "broke on through"; < I was born) HAD been a Boy Scout "Troop Leader", while my Father was growing up, so... I never did join any of that "Scouting", although, I MOST CERTAINLY DO believe that we should all "Be Prepared"... (The Old Man must've said those 2 words, back to back, 30,000 times in 17+1/2 years... )
The motto is still with me.
Today the thoughts are " What if " and prep for that.

I have not heard that since MY Boy Scouting days ('64-'69) !
Dick McCoy, our Scoutmaster would recite that during the meeting before our twice a year "Survival campout". He was usually inspired by some Tenderfoot asking.."but what if we can't find berries or catch a fish, what are we supposed to eat ?")
Just friggin amazing how many memory jogs I get from y'all, here on the forum.... Thanks !
