Welcome back Canuckus,where you been hiding. You are smart to catch and release. After 48 years I still haven't been able to train mine to be a good pet. Very funny though

welcome back CD. Just like trout, there are different kinds. the one's caught with big worms or cash are definitely catch and release. the best keepers and easiest to train are the ones who you will remember, they are the hardest to catch as you are the bait.

A little tuff putting this species on a stringer they wiggle around way to much and constantly want to be feed a full wallet. At this age visual appreciation and years of experience say: C & R.

Welcome home CD! Mine is partly trained, but then so am I. Maybe 60/40 in my favor,,,,,,,,,I think.
Caught mine with the old Worm/Snack /Motorcycle combo.
After 40+yrs I think we just wore each other down, but the battles were Epic back in the day.
