Can anyone tell me the brand of this boat and trailer, it was given to me yesterday, needs quite a bit of work, tires and wheels, seats, winch and more. Has 60hp evinrude motor, under the cowling it looks ok but will get a battery to see if the electrics are ok. Has been sitting there for several years.

Got some good advice so far Ronnie looks like it has potential I would definitely take the plugs out of that motor and fog the inside let it sit for a while before I tried to turn that motor over. I wouldn't spend a whole lot of money tell you made the decision you fix the boat. Motor and trailer looks like it should be worth something 😁👍 good luck man an keep us posted

Thanks for all the replies, it does look sound and pulled the drain plug and water came out, doesn't look like any leaks. Waiting on new wheels so I can get it home and start working on it. Not in a hurry so gives me something to do through summer. 😉😁

Yes, have known them since I came here in 2008, they have a lot of property and give me access to 2 areas for hunting as well as a private lake for fishing.

X2 on the transom. Don't want to ruin the engine too.

They were 13 inch, have ordered 2 tires and wheels, about $140. Not in a hurry so will make sure everything is fixed

That could be a diamond in the rough! I can't id manufacturers easily, but the pseudo tri-hull appearance looks like the hull of a '78 Monarch I owned for many years.

This could be a good platform for someone to launch a game of "Identify This Boat". Ha!

I would offer just one thing from past experience. Older boats typically used wood for under structure like stringers and flooring. Those wood supports and floors tend to develop wood rot. If the understructure rots there is no support for the main material of the boat. Not a good situation. Bd very unsafe on the water. Check the very basis structure of your boat before investing money in it. If your not sure how to check you tube it or hire a professional boat surveyor. Best money you can spend.

I just found an old Quachita 14' wide jon boat and got it for a song. The title says it's a '73 model. It's straight as a string, but has the same dirt it got the first time it was on the water. I sandblasted it, primed with Rustoleum Aluminum Prime and started to paint it with Rustoleum Hunter Green. What a project! But, when you're 77 what else do you do? Now to find a 15 hp motor w/ electric start. New or used. Hard to find.
