And a happy earth day 🌎 to you kandy.
It’s so pretty here, I just don’t understand why there is so much trash along the roads.

Happy earth day everyone causing another round of meetings by so called experts who think they can control God's creation

I just wish people would at least do the minimum by keeping it clean. I don’t think that is asking too much?
Have a great day all!
I'll carry an extra trash bag in my truck to counter those who leave it behind.

Yes! It’s especially distressing to see how my fellow fisherpeople leave trash at their fishing spots. Empty bait containers, cans & bottles, food and other packaging...I have a feeling that we on this site have more respect than that and, like me, try to clean up the messes that others leave behind. Thanks for the post, Kandy.

Yes we can and should control the trash problem I was talking about climate change
And Happy Earth Day to all from the left coast.
Gather trash, walk or ride a bike to your destination instead of driving, Recycle/Re-use/Repair/Re-purpose..... these and so very much more will certainly be helpful towards that lofty goal of treating our planet with the Native American's idea...."the next 7 generations in mind".

Good thread Kandy. I can still see in my mind what i saw at a reservoir the other day.
What is wrong with people is my only question as to why can't they just put the trash in the can.
I guess LAZY sums it up.

Had Mankind stayed on horses and used them for all transportation besides sailboats maybe it could have nothing at all to do with our actions. I don’t think space aliens came to earth and extracted oil or anything else and treated Mother Nature with such disrespect as humans have for several hundred years. Ice age and climate change has been happening a very longtime. The fact that our actions have increased the rate is very obvious.

Many probably don’t think anything we do makes a difference in nature. It’s pretty obvious many think that way in their actions and statements

The very least one can do is to be conscious of what they’ve brought into the stream, river, crick or lake and take it out with them.Makes me sick when I see trash along our local waters. In some cases landowners have denied access to their land due to this problem and I can’t blame them. Who wants styrofoam bait containers, soda cans, beer cans etc. littering their property. I’ve often discontinued a day of fishing when encountering trash and instead spent my efforts with cleanup. Sorry for the tirade but it really, really strikes a sour cord.
