What, nobody gonna speak up for an old International pickup?
I did mention owning a corn binder. She was a beast.
Frankly, I had to scratch my head for awhile to come up with a name from the USA other than Ford, Chevy or Ram. I hope that it's obvious that I wasn't serous about international!

AMC never actually built a truck they built a Jeep with a short bed so maybe that fits. Just before I was drafted in 68 I bought a new 68 Dodge Super Bee for $1800.00. and my brother bought a Dodge pickup for $1500 lol

Picked up a new used truck this morning
2018 Ford F-150 XLT
Turbo charged 6 cyl.
Bells and whistles I haven’t figured out how to use yet
Didn’t realize I had a sunroof till I got home.
Back up camera is nice. Pulled right up to the boat
Wife said it don’t match boat. Guess I’m gonna have to get a new boat.
Nice looking f 150. I also have a XLT 2014 with same engine. I wish it had the older 5.4 V8 that I have in my 2003 F150 that I have 270,000 miles on with same engine. Still running perfectly great. Rebuild the top end at 200,000.

I get really serious about researching engines year by year, every manufacturer will have dogs and true gems that are reliable year to year. The 350 has been used as a platform forever, but you have to know what changes were made in what year and how that evolution does at 200k+ miles. There have been transmissions that consistently fail at 100k (or less), and others that should outlast the engine.
You lucked out with the 5.4 or took care of it well, they made some much needed modifications to the Triton around 06/07, last year when I was trying to decide which F150 Platinum I wanted the standout engine for bullet proof reliability was the 5.0 Coyote in 2011.

Thank you for the information I will take it into consideration on my next buy. Your correct about lucking out with my 2003. I also change the oil ever 2-3000 miles. I use mobile one. It might be a bit excessive but the proof in in the pudding. I do the same with my 2014 on the oil changes. I don't drive it very much, just on long trips.
