Rick is a great friend and fishin bud. He is always on time, brings us Egg McMuffins, pays for entry to lake, and has a beer waiting for us when we come off the lake. One day he forgot the beer and I went into withdrawal.

You da man!!
what body of water are you on? what lures/bait did you use?
I am fishing Lake Skinner in Temecula, Ca. Been strictly fishing my favorite all time simple set up. Using a 5" Yamamoto Thin Green/Pumpkin worm, wacky rigged on 6lb flouro. No weight, just the worm attached to a #1 or 1/0 hook. Flipping it as close to reeds as possible. For those that have followed my post over the past couple of years, it may seem that this set up is all I fish with. Pretty close to being true. Sometime I fish the same set up for drop shotting. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Have caught numerous fish in the 5-8lb size. Give it a shot and let me know how it works for you (hopefully with some pics)
your Bud has a good Bud , nice !
