Thanks Graywulff! I keep telling my self that even if I only catch a 1lb bass it's still a good day and the next time could be better. My time will come when I can start fishing big water and catching those 20+ pounders. But your absolutely right, for now I am just enjoying being outside and having a line in the water.

I have never fished in the ocean but my PB was a bass I caught in a very small pond about twenty years ago. It weighed 6 lb.-8 Oz. and was 21 inches long. I caught it on a #2 Blue Fox minnow spin. Pics to follow(I hope).

I went to Alaska, fishing on the Kenia River and caught a 59 pound 13oz King Salmon. This was in 1990. I was 34 years old and went with a dear friend who was 73 at the time. A great memory with a friend I'll never forget.

Cow nose ray in the surf at LBI NJ. Took 45 minutes to get it to the surface in order to see it. Had to be over hundred pounds - wore me out. Couldn’t land it - cut the line
