My PB bass was caught in a 1.5 acre pond in Hockessin, Dr. In 1958.....measured 8 lbs even on my " fish deliar" do not recall length.....but it sure tasted good! Have not been close since.....maybe next time out?
My wife looked at you and said we were twins right down to the beard. I can only surmise you are a damn good looking fella.

This is a fishing forum. There are plenty of other sites for hookups!

I fished my neighbor’s pond yesterday afternoon trying to catch Bluegill. I was using live worms under a bobber. No luck on the Bluegill but I did catch one 10” Crappie and this guy.
Show off. 😂 Just kidding of course. Nice Bass PapaJ.

Don't mind me brother... I just love joking around. Laughter is the best ....
My best was a Smallmouth in 1981; he was 8.5 lbs.and 24 inches, less than a pound off of the state record and longer then the state record at the time. He stayed in my huge live well for three hours and my brother in law insisted I keep him but honestly it was like he was talking to me, let me go, I gave you the best of myself. I resisted
the wishes of my brother in law and put him in my landing net a few inches into the water. He came to full life in a few minutes and I bid him farewell. Never came close again. One of those memories that will stay with me for what time I have left. That is what makes fishing so great you never know when your lifetime fish will decide to honor you with his presence. A few years later my Dad tied me and chose to put his on the wall. When he died it came to me and down the line I donated it to my favorite tackle shop and it took it's place of honor next to a huge Musky.
I know what you mean. I got a 30" channel cat in late 80s. Did it on the grill. Later i though about it n wished i would have put him back. These days you can take pictures n measurements n have a replica mount.

Ok, post a picture of yourself so we can judge.
Sadly I am technology challenged and I wouldn't have a clue how to post a picture. I just learned to buy something from Amazon last year. I had my wife look at the picture and she confirmed that we look alike though
not as alike as I thought when I first saw him. I don't even have a smart phone so I couldn't take a picture on one.
Not something I can't learn but so far I have chosen not to. I hate the idea of big Tech following me around knowing where I go what I shop for or where I am 24/7. I still do just fine with the land line although I am cordless.
I wish I would have known about the replica thing back then and we didn't even have a camera with us. I thought about taking him home in the live well but he had been in there for 3 hours or so and I didn't want to risk it.
A couple of guys near us came over to see what all the excitement was and they didn't have a camera with them.
The cell phone thing was in it's infancy then. My live well pumped fresh water in every 30 seconds but once you are out of the water it would likely have killed him. I knew the state record from a regulation book I had and knew he was a bit shy or I may have kept him no matter what.

I know about being technical challenged. I spent untold hours of practice to become proficient with a baitcaster but not with a computer. I can get family help with IT stuff. I'd rather fish anyway.
AWESOME! Thanks for sharing great photo and fish!
Keep on Catchin!
