Congress has the authority to tax whatever they want to tax so fear not, they'll get their money. The problem with the "climate control" theory is that even though they reduce emissions by limiting automotive and diesel fumes by forcing the switch to electric vehicle they will simply replace those emissions with those from the electricity generation facilities. Unless they pave half of the country with those inefficient photocell panels. Read up on the efficiency of those things as compared to fossil fuel or nuclear power generation. Nuclear power generation in a non-starter. There will never be another nuclear power plant built in this country. Meanwhile, the Chinese and the Indians are polluting the air more and more every day.

OK Climate Change. Lack of Solar Flares to push the Sun's radiant heat past the Earth, the Solar Flares then causes cooling down of the Earth Temp, and the Axial Tilt of the Earth shifting. Neither of those can the World Governments do anything about.
The biggest Carbon Emitters is starting to be people. And don't get me started on the Ozone layers and Holes in it. To generate Ozone just remove all the Ozone filters from all the Laser printers. But hey, they don't want Real facts, just lies told over and over so people believe them. When the Sun was having lots of Solar Flares back in 1963, they were afraid that we would be going into another Ice Age. The amount of Solar flares has went way down so now the Earth heats up. IF it was Carbon Emissions, then at the end of WWII when every one was rebuilding and burning coal to make the steel ect, it would have raised the temp right then. Didn't happen.
Sorry for the rant I just get tired of the lies put forth for agendas to tax us or make money for politicians. Glad we are in the Attic on this one.

SO TRUE. I also remember hunting back in the early 1950s for Deer in late October and it was so hot and dry in WA in Western Washington, the after a period of time it turned out the opposite, wet and cold.
