Thank you for the invitation to join. I enjoy reading the daily posts. I am 63 years old and live in Cedar Park, TX. I was wondering if there were any members that fish and live near me.

Welcome to the Forum, Joe, there must be, there is a lot of members from TX.
Joe57: Yes, absolutely, I know where Cedar Park is located. You have both regular fishing and pay for fish fishing in your area. I personally have not fished anywhere around Austin but there are other members who have. Hang tight and some others should be along. Just Sayin....RJS
Welcome Joe. Help is on the way, I'm sure.

Welcome to the Fishing Stage, Joe57! No, I ain't anywhere nearby, but, my big brother was born in 1957! Seems like a fair amount of Texans on here, from time to time... Good luck with it all.

Welcome to the Stage Joe, from New England.
Welcome Joe,
Hopefully someone close by will be able to help you very soon.
Yes, 1957 was a good year. I became a newly minted second Lieutenant in the US Air Force in May of that year. Just Sayin...RJS

Welcome to the stage Joe, never fished there but good luck
Hey Joe. I live in Williamson Co. like I suppose you do. There are numerous lakes around the area for fishing. You can check with Tx Parks and Wildlife as they just released their fishing report for the week. They have reports from all over Texas. I believe we are in the "Hill Country" area. Lakes Travis, Buchannon, Marble Falls, and Georgetown just to name a few. Plus there is river access in areas too.
