Here's another lure on the crawdad theme. This one is plastic with rubber legs. What is it?
I have never seen one before. Just Sayin...RJS
Looks like it could have been made by Arbogast. Seems to resemble a jitterbug.
As one of the partners of Bomber Bait said, there are no new inventions of lures, there are only copies. Just Sayin..RJS
I’m pretty sure it’s made by Creek Chub Lures, ( cray fish) I have one, mine is yellow with black and red spots. Tight lines.
Fish on! I had an old bass plug my Grandfather owned...a hula woman. By gollies, the last time I fished it in against a weed bed, an idiot large mouth bass committed suicide. Never fished with it again and have passed it on to my nephew. Maybe he'll have stories to tell when he is approaching the end of his 7th decade...like me.
Kowalski
This lure is a Creek Chub Bait Company (as mentioned by Fish1) Cray-Z-Fish #9900-P in Tan Crab color pattern.
This lure was produced from 1963-1978 and was meant to replace the older wooden Crawdad models #300 and #400. The wooden models were still popular and were available until 1964.

You're welcome Fred. I have fun doing this and enjoy the history almost as much as fishing itself!
I'd bet money you nailed it.
