Welcome to the stage Jim, where are you at?
Welcome to the stage Jim.
For bass try smaller lures for numbers and bigger for quality. Crappie are caught on smaller jigs live minnows catch crappie, bass and catfish. Cut shad make good catfish bait along with crayfish, chicken liver, shrimp or live bream. Welcome aboard and tight lines.
I’m guessing kathrine’s landing is on the Col. River just above the dam. It’s a good bass lake, but not for me! Very clear (can see down to 15-20’). This time of year try bluff drop offs (gigs, Ned rig, drop-shot, TX rigged stuff, etc). Slow-slow-slow presentations. I’m sure other ‘Desert Rats’ will have better advice..... Good Luck!
