True fisherman, do any of you bring soup with you during winter to warm up?

I turn my catches into chower at the pier. And sell it to the guys that forgot soup.
Going fishing in am. Suppose to be 29. You gave me a good idea as I have a crockpot of homemade soup just finishing up. Thanks.
I bring a flask with Wild Turkey and fish 20 minutes from home.
If I bring a hot beverage, because I do not drink coffee, I make some chicken broth from powdered bouillon. It is quick and easy to make early in the morning
I freeze homemade chili in a camping pot and strap down the lid. By the time I’m in the day for some internal warmth, the he chili is mostly thawed. I’ll stroke up a little fire or light up the single burner camp stove and have a warm meal within 15 minutes.
I'm with R.Hogeboam and Troutman..... my thermos is a pint-sized leather-covered type... kinda flat-shaped.... my favorite soups are Makers Mark or Patron.... either one will warm me right up !
Hunger pain nourishment ? String cheese and jerky will suffice until I get home to prepare/eat the trout I am catching.
If I have no luck catching .....I pick up Chinese food on the way home and gorge myself while binge-watching Angler West, the Northwest Outdoorsman, and Outdoor GPS episodes I have recorded..... vicarious enjoyment.
I sometimes take a small grill with charcoal in a zip lock bag coated with lighter fluid, hot dogs and buns
in another bag.
With 27 degree temp and west wind of 10 mph, that soup warmed me right up. Make fun if you want but it was nippy from daylight until 11. Was fishing for crappie so only took ultralight. No crappie but caught 4 small bass and lost 2 more that broke off. All were under 1&1/2 lbs so no pics. Had better time than any day at work.
I don't really know what soup to bring but I need hot coffee so buy your self a yeti it is the best I found to keep coffee hot for 8 hours.
Tight lines
Got a Stanley thermos that works great. One for coffee and a wide mouth one for food.
Cream of Jack Daniels for me. Old school.
Normally just hot coffee on an rtic cup they work really good and are a lot cheaper than yeti. If I am staying all day chicken noodle works again in an rtic container stays hot for 8 hours.
I like all kinds of soup but need something more like a sandwich or chicken leg to get me full enough. Some homemade chili or stew will do the trick with a piece of bread. I use a side mouth Stanley. Hank
What a great idea. Except I don’t live near an ocean with a pier with lotsa fisherman. Hank
