Welcome to the Forum, Mike. You are in good company.
Welcome Mike.... here is the best advice you'll ever get on the stage.... if you ever hook up with Fred to go fishing, do as follows
- send your wife and daughters out of state the day before
- if you are attached to your dog you best send him/her with the girls.
- if he's reaching for a beer or food keep your body parts out of reach
- don't look shocked when he catches a fish and eats it raw on the boat.
- and most important be sure to pay for everything.
Other than that, have a great time.
PS. Make yourself as small as possible when he starts looking for the boat anchor.

Where did that come from Steve???
Don't have a dog.
Don't drink.
Only eat 2 meals a day.
Have only eaten tuna raw.
Always pay my way,and often others
And last but not least, I've only thrown one guy overboard, and he REALLY deserved it!

And that only one was Steve....
Oh I'm sorry Fred.... I forgot to explain...
The wife and daughters got to go because you are so kind and good looking. You are a natural female magnet. You can't help it, it's not your fault but poor Mike doesn't need to hear about how wonderful you are from the ladies in the house... day after due. Same thing with the dog when you are leaving to go home and Mike's dog won't get out of your passenger seat. Best to avoid that embarrassing scene. Food and drink? That's just common sense. The anchor? Hells bells if that eyesight can get a little tricky at our age. Sometimes we can think, well this feels heavy must be it and nit realize we tossed our fishing partner into the lake. Anyway, what did you think I meant? 😁😁😁
Oh and the pay for everything? Just doing you a solid man. That's what fiends are for!

Well I won't argue with you about the woman folks, just natural charisma, I guess.
I hear you brother.... it's hard for others to understand the burden we share. 😎😎

¡Welcome, Adventure Mike! I'm not anywhere near you at the moment, but; I'm thinking that there's someone not all that far away from you. ... ¡Catch'em UP!

Did you tie a rope to him since you were using him as an anchor?
