I'm new to this website, been fishing over 50 years. My advice, don't get married, don't have kids, buy a boat.....but nobody listens.....

I'm 77 soon to be 78 a little late on the info.
Too late for me. But then again I wouldn't trade them for the world. But the boat is smart advice.
Took the wife on a two week honeymoon deep sea fishing, (HER IDEA ) got back and bought a boat (she picked out ) and a fishing shack on the Mississippi River. She won quite a few ladies tournaments and several Walleye tournaments with me. She also held the rod and reel world record for Shovelnose sturgeon (Sand ). She taught all the grand kids how to fish and they have all won individual tournaments themselves. I think some of you guy's started out on the wrong foot as our family lives and breaths fishing !
Had one regret in the last thirty years, wife wanted to buy some special crank baits and ask if it was OK to order on line. I said yes and gave her my Visa Card , didn't think any more about it !
Box came with 250 lures in it, I ask if she bought enough and the reply was, she got a few extra because they were cheaper in BULK !
Nothing better than a frugal woman !
