What kinda float is this. How do you rig it. Is this a good stile. What do you use it for. Some have lead on the bottom and some don’t why? Do you add any weight on your line if so why? Unscramble this and check it before you go RARAD.

That is a slip bobber. Run your line thru the tube, slid it up to the depth you want to fish, push the string onto your line, remove the tube, slide on the bead, slide on the bobber. Cast, the line will feed down thru the bobber and stop when the bobber stop string reaches the bobber. You can adjust the depth you want to fish by moved the bobber stop string. I forgot to say- when you slide the string off the tube tighten it to your line. Did I get this right my fishing gurus?

it's called a slip bobber , used with just enough weight to stay afloat but enough so when a fish takes the bait it sinks without the fish feeling it , the knot goes on the line first [ remove the tube the knot is on ] then the bead then the bobber , i use a split shot after that then your hook , the weighted slip bobber needs less split shot below , the slip knot can be adjusted to whatever depth down or off the bottom you want to fish . i first used this set up in minnesota for walleye and did very well keeping the bait about 18 inoff bottom

Sounds right hooker, except Mike for got the bead to keep the bobber from sticking in the bobber stop..then you can put a jig below the bobber to pull the line down to the depth you want. When I use a rig like that I use a rod with bigger guides and a bigger tip. That helps so your guides don't keep moving the bobber stop and it passes thru freely. Just how I do it lol

Me and a friend were fishing for crappy on a hot summers day and bot getting a single bite. So I said, they probably are deeper. Adjusted the bobber stopper for a longer line to the bobber, then we started catching them one after another.
