Hello. My name is Margayle, I usually surf/drone fish in Matagorda, everywhere else seems to be too touristy lately. My boyfriend and I go every weekend about, we are down to keep learning and giving information to help out. We want to start chartering with our drones eventually and name it Reel High Drone Fishing and we also are seashell and driftwood addicts, we hand make and customize furniture/home decor. We have built shark fishing racks, customized trailers for your traveling and sport/hunting/fishing desire.

Welcome to the Forum, Margayle, good luck!
Well that would be one way to get your line out beyond casting distance! Cool idea!
Mhock032: Welcome to the Fishing Forum/Stages. I hope you have checked to be sure you've complied with all the Texas Game laws. Sounds like a great idea. Just Sayin....RJS

Welcome, Margayle! Yeah, that DOES sound pretty slick; but, considering that I must've heard: "Cover your own a$$ first", outta my Father's mouth, a hundred X's... I'm with Mr. Samples, on that one = ✓,✓ y ✓✓/ the "Powers that BE"; as to the legality of the whole idea. (I, PERSONALLY, would "roll with it", as long as it's LEGAL.)
Hello, may I ask what exactly is drone fishing? We are fairly new to fishing. You see, we have two boys (5 & 8) who LOVE to fish all day every day. We didn’t know anything at all about fishing until they took up a passion, so much so we are debating starting a YouTube channel for them. We travel fulltime and have been tracking our journey on IG and Facebook. We’d love a chance to see what you guys do if our paths cross. We are in Maryland now slowly making our way south.

mspaulding27; you know about as much as I do, about it. Better off to "Google it up" y ✓ it out.
The whole concept DOES remind me, of seeing (video of) some "Pacific Islanders" out doing "kite fishing" off the beach, years ago.

Nice fish boys! Keep up the good fishing lessons Mom and Dad. They keep catching like those two fish and they will provide a few family dinners.
Awe thank you. They have been doing a great job so far considering we have no clue what we are doing. We’re learning as we go!

Well definitely keep at it. Fishing is a wonderful way to get the kids outside and is a great way to bond to the kids. My grandson is my best fishing buddy.
That is so neat we have three boys of our own also but they do not enjoy fishing as much as we do. Drone fishing is using a drone with a bait drop when you are fishing on the surf but you could also probably do it on your boat.

You need to get your boys involved in fish catching. Find a farm pond that you can access, get some worms, bobbers and #8 hooks and stand back. They will probably be catching fish faster than you can rebait.
