I have a huge problem! I do a lot of counted cross stitching for birthday and Christmas gifts, (The count is now up to 21 for each) Also teach a counted cross stitch class evenings every two weeks, plus projects for myself. I am not sure if my fishing time is cutting into my cross stitching time or my cross stitching is cutting into my fishing time. Just know I can't do both at the same time.

I had Eel at a restaurant when I was in China. I didn't like it at all, it had a very strong flavor. Of course, there are a lot of different eels, and I have no idea what variety I had.

In Hawaii, I met a native who was catching Moray Eels, he said that they were good eating. Never tried one myself.

Shouldn’t be as big a problem as golf or fishing, the times and weather for each are the same plus explaining the expense on equipment and when you have to get the new version.
Embroidery and fishing don’t have to conflict embroidery can be done relaxing at nite watching the news, if you can relax anymore watching that. Do some free hand embroidery usually of tattoos myself ma’am.
I draw the outline on the cloth then fill it in by hand till I like it.

I love corn meal pancakes, right on. Not to get off topic, but they are good with butter and a little bit of backstrap molasses.

Doitright: There is a ton of personal preference in this subject. I think you would be well advised to just do what you like, eat what you like, and leave it at that. If you are adventuresome, you might want to try new and different fish. It is and boils down to personal taste. You will find some other folks traste is great, while others are terrible. It is ok to experiment if you choose. Just Sayin...RJS

while in Vietnam a couple of kids invited me to enjoy some mud crabs (freshwater, live in the rice paddy dikes). Being on survival rations I tried one of these little black crabs just pulled out of the mud. Knowing that the water in the Paddies is loaded with bacteria I was guessing I was going to pay for this experiment. Well they actually were very sweet and delicious ( I ate six at that time and hunted them whenever I was near a Paddy) Never had any adverse reaction. Basically it appears that we can eat all the water "bugs" crabs, lobster, crawdads. Also was treated to some rather large grubs, kind of reminded me of grits.
