You guys are lucky I'm not supposed to drink beer or soda. Only sodas I can drink are the Cokes or Pepsi from Mexico with real sugar. They taste better anyway. They're easy to find here but not on road trips. No fountain drinks either. Such is life. LOL.

Aren't they good at that? No respect. I feel like Rodney Dangerfield.

Hold the phone...you mean no sugar cokes or pepsis are made in the US anymore...I wouldn't put that artificial stuff on my lawn.

In Arizona, California, New Mexico and probably El Paso and Brownsville, anywhere along the border, you can buy Cokes bottled in Mexico. They don't use high fructose corn syrup, they use cane sugar and they have a totally different taste (my opinion). Probably Pepsi too, I've just never looked for it. I'm a Coke guy.

Actually, what Larry was talking about, was that those big-name sodas are all made with CORN SYRUP SUGAR now, not CANE sugar. I too, go to the "taqueria" just down the road, for "real soda". Back when they started that in the '60's, my Dad would drive many miles out of the way to go to some tiny town outside Dallas that still made Dr Pepper "with the original recipe", bought as many cases as he had either $$ or room for.
It truly does taste different and IMHO... better.

I'm a coke guy also.
When we went to buy it they were out of coke, just pepsi with real sugar. It wasn't bad with real sugar but I'll stick with coke if they aren't out of it.

And why are you on a veggie diet?

After I had the last stem cell injection in my back, it put me down. I mean it really hurt to do most anything so I sit and ate and gained an extra 20 pounds. Now the injection is starting to work I'm feeling better but not up to par but I gotta get this weight off. I've dropped the extra 20 and back down to 220 but I'm not satisfied and got my mind set on 190. I'm walking again every morning and exercising but the I'm at a stand still on the weight loss. Veggie diet is another tool I'm putting in the tool box. been a week now and got another 5 off so I'm on my way.
