The Roadster is under 2 seconds I think. Hard to believe. That is some g forces.

I'm a pickup driver so I really don't care much about how fast it'll get from 0 to 60, I want to know how much torque it has to get me out of a mud hole and is it 4 wheel drive. Mike

Ditto. If you can’t haul plywood it’s not a truck.

I'm with you FD, and CDB, it's hard to find a pickup with an 8 foot bed anymore. Problem is most people that buy pickups these days shouldn't drive them, and just use them to make themselves feel like they're something they aren't. They use them as cars, but it's a status thing to have a truck I guess. If you can't put a full sheet of plywood in it and shut the tailgate, it's worthless to me.

I I cant put rails on the sides and haul cows its useless to me, my Blazer is SUV So its a daily driver, but if I had an old pick up it would definitely be an every other day driver, Just because I like to drive them, not because its a status.

I have a 1500 Ram pick up that I drive when I need to but do most of my driving in a Prius so where does that leave me??

It just means you go both ways 3cs, not that there's anything wrong with that... Actually, sounds like you're a smart man to me. I personally don't tie my identity to what I drive, a car or truck is just a tool like any other tool. If it gets the job done, it'a fine.

Plum: You may want to refer to the purse as a "European Shoulder Bag" if you find yourself in a fervent and hostile PC crowd. But I sure wouldn't use that term on FS from what I've seen the last several weeks. I've seen enough to want to avoid the barrel.

Thats tricky.... Do you drive one because of the good mileage? If thats the case then I guess you just like all of us, just trying to cut costs in any way possible

The pick up gets less than12 miles to the gallon loaded or empty. The car get 40 plus. The car is much easier to park also.

Sounds to politically correct for me. Call it the way i see it. The man purse goes around the waist, the shoulder bag is just that. Sounds like 2 different useless things for a man to carry. Heck got 4 pockets on every pair of pants i own.

Besides the barrel is an old whisky barrel, Fumes make you sleep real well.

Sounds like a man purse is just another name for a fanny pack.
