I am overrun with tomatoes! The Lemon Boy yellow tomato is the best tasting one of the four kinds that I planted—much milder than the red or purple ones.

Got my first good pick come in. Up to now it was just lettuce, green beans and egg plant . It's not a real crop until the tomatoes come in. The mini cukes were a surpri se. Didn't think they were ready.

I got plenty of beans , cukes, and Zucchini, but only green tomatoes on bushes over 4' tall (15)

My tomatoes are around 6 feet and sparse. Not enough light

Add calcium at planting time and to feed them thru the growing season— aids in growth and prevents “black spot, Blossom end rot ”. They do best in good sun light, a shady area stunts their growth and the firming of fruit.

Thanks for the tip. My garden is on south side of my 1 acre lot and gets good sun. What do you feed them during growing season? My snap green beans will get picked in the morning and I suspect I will have a couple canners from them.
