How's the garden coming??

Got my first good pick come in. Up to now it was just lettuce,green beans and egg plant . It's not a real crop until the tomatoes come in. The mini cukes were a surpri se. Didn't think they were ready.

Like the zucchini in there too. I put two in,one green and one yellow. Got fruit from the yellow, but the green only had male flowers so no fruit.

Thats funny Flytier - my yellow has only had mayby 6 squash and a hundred male flowers.Maybe they are related😂

For some reason I get a lot of borers in the stems so the plants don't last too long.

Heard tell that a woman asked a farmer how he managed to get such red tomatoes
He answered “I expose myself to them each morning”, 2 weeks went by and they met again. Farmer asked how her tomatoes were doing, not to good but you should see my cucumbers.

Diced zucchini, diced onion, corn and hot green chile sauté til tender to with sharp cheddar cheese...... Mmm Mmm GOOD.

quick fry the male flowers and fold them in a fresh tortilla for dessert. The flowers are sweet!

Good idea. I've seen them stuffed but never that way.
