Another one I've heard of is Heros on the Water. I think it's a kyac group around the country. I don't know how to send a link, but Google them if interested.https://heroesonthewater.org/chapters-events/ hey I did it!

OK, that sounds like what we should do then. As soon as we decide which group to donate to. Thanks.

Once it's figured out as to which way to go, I'm in. Do you folks think it's a good idea to give out credit card info? I'd rather write a check. Your thoughts?

Thanks OJD, first lets find out if there are any other groups that anyone knows of that we might consider also. When we decide which group, I'll need all the help I can get.
IDK how to go about setting up how we need to collect the donations or anything like that.
Come on guys, lets hear from you?

One way would to get us his info, names, rank etc. and we could each donate separately via credit card to the one organization chosen in his and Pam's name. Mike

Thanks Al. Don't know which group yet, but we're thinkin of settin up something with the organization we choose and will be able to donate to them directly. At that time I would feel comfortable with giving out my credit card #.
I'll try to keep everybody informed and up to date on what we decide and which organization we choose.
Any other thoughts on which organization?

Thanks Saw...
If you're comfortable with it, that's good enough for me.

Pick one or two if you wish and let us know which.

Thanks OJD. I've been checkin those out and just don't know which one to choose. Several like "Project healing waters" is just about fly fishing. So IDK if the guys and gals would be OK with one like that or they would rather support one that covered a broader fishing audience.
How do you feel?

What is MT’s favorite? It is for the Vets, so it doesn’t matter to me, really.

I think Project Healing Waters or
Heroes on the Water would be fine with me. I read the stuff Spirit posted on Project ... and it sounded real good. I don’t fly fish, but that that doesn’t make any difference to me at all.

I tend to agree. I don't fly fish either but that organization is in all the states and therefore pretty available to all vets.
Is this topic still listed on your computer? It disappeared from mine. How do you keep a topic still viewable to the stage?
