How long has it been unable to open the stage? Have you tried shutting off and restarting you phone? Sounds like it's probably chewing on something and trying to spit it out.

Well, yes I did that and it let me post that 1 pic from the trip today but when I tried to post the second pic it wouldn't let me open any more posts from the stage.
I just turned it off again , maybe I'll have better luck this time. I doubt it but you never know. I sent a PM to admin to see what they thought might be the problem.

Got back from Tomales a little while ago. Had a good day.
First fish I hooked it got tangled with Brads line and we both were tryin to get it to the boat. After bout 5 or 6 mins his hook cut me off and that was that. It was most likely a shark cause we could NOT get it to come up and we never got a look at it. Just as well. We don't like to deal with sharks at the boat and most likely would have cut the line anyway.
Next fish Brad hooks into a BIG halibut. He gets it up near the boat and says" Get the net. " So I get the net and it comes up to the boat but I can't get a good shot at it with the net and he see the boat ant took off. He got about 8 or 9 feet from the boat and the little hook we were havin to use pulled out. It was layin on top of the water for a few seconds and then it took off with a big splash. It was nearly 40 inches long and prolly close to 30 pounds. We should have used the gaff and it would have been in the boat, but OH WELL.
Third fish I hook into a nice Halibut and that one we gaff and it was 28 inches and 8 pounds.
Fourth fish I hook into a nice Striper and we net it and it is also 28 inches and 8 pounds.
The fifth and last fish Brad hooks a nice Striper and it pulled off a little ways from the boat.
All in all we had a wonderful day. It was a first for me with both the Halibut and the ocean run Striper.
Here are some pics.

Hey Spirit. I been tryin to post the rest of the pics but the stage won't load on my PH. I can't open up posts from the stage at all ! IDK what the deal is. If it starts workin again I'll post all the other pics.
Yes we launched at the same place and Brad punched in the wrong date for the tides and it was low tide when we got there. Bots were getting stuck every time they tried to launch a very big one. We finally got out at about 7 AM.
We ended up using small anchovies we were catchin and had to use a small #2 hook with them. Bigger hooks would have just weighted them down and they would have just been draggin on the bottom instead of free swimming.
We fished till almost 1 PM. Started fishin for bait bout 0730 and then for Halibut bout 0815 or so.
By the time all this virus stuff dies down Halibut season will be over. It's in full swing right now but I don't know how long it will last. We must have seen at least 20 fish landed today. Not countin the ones lost.
High tide will be next weekend and Brad is gonna want to go back out there I'm sure. Don't know if he will call me. He was goin to invite another friend to go and he might just take him, IDK.
I have been resistin the urge to launch my boat in the salt water. I have never done that I always have used it in fresh water. It makes it last SO much longer if you don't put them in salt water. So we have always used Brads boat for the salt and mine if we are goin fresh water fishin.
Hopefully you and I can get together one of these days and catch some fish. I'm lookin forward to it.

Good Morning Mr. Steve.
Brad put in the wrong date, I forgot to change mine to E.S.T. :) I think Brad & I would make
a great team :) Those are very nice pictures & fish. Glad you had a wonderful time.

Good morning, Saw1; I too, have been having alotta "technical difficulties"/ this FS website, on my telephone, on & off. Like someone already said, rebooting does seem to help. That, y "using the trash-can" ... I get all email on the phone, so, I've always got something I don't mind "recycling".
As far as salt water eating up your ve$$el; 1 way to avoid that, would be to drop it in the river, on the way home y burn a little fuel/ the wind in your hair! (Might be ONE workable solution.)

Way to go Steve. I’m a whole lot jealous. I’ve never caught either of those. Enjoy your meal.

Thanks Hack. The one that we didn't get was nearly twice that big. It would have pushed 40 inches anyway. It was heart breakin to watch that fish come off bout 8 feet from the boat and just lay there on top for a few seconds and not be able to do anything about it. Just a little bit out of reach. Had we just used the gaff instead of the net we would have had it. Won't ever make that mistake again.

Thanks flyguy. It’s going ok. I’ve been having some more problems with my back and legs, but the rest of me is still working good. Hope y’all are doing well. Stay safe my friend.

Yes Sir, I bet you’ll never forget that mistake. This is a true story of the big one that did get away. It’s happened to all of us fishermen, and we all hated it when it did happen, but you did make it home with a nice one. Go again and catch some more...
