Couple of weeks...I am so jealous. What river...Snake, Grand Rond, Columbia. My Grandfather and his fish partner Orville fished the valley every week. I remember when the Snake flowed wild with sets of rapids that were so dangerous. There were boater navigation marks on the rocks along the river to guide boats safely thru the rapids and swirling eddies. Ol' Pops loved to fish for steelhead and sturgeon
