Still fishing. How to not get bored while waiting for any fish to bite?
Take her somewhere the fish are biting! She won't get bored.
I only sat on the river bank as a kid. When I could afford it I fished in a boat and I never got bored. I really was more of a hunter/fisher than just a fisherman. I would stop and cast either a top water, and spinner, or a spinner and swimming lure for perhaps 15 to 20 minutes and if no takers, I'd move to another location and repeat the same action. Keeps one busy and active.
Also, if you have a guest aboard, your time is not your own. Now you are helping them, running the boat and trolling motor and fishing a little. so you are much busier. Just Sayin...RJS

Could you be a little more detailed on what you mean by wonderful? Some of us are old and slow. šš
Can"t believe what I'm reading here! Heck, I'm 63 and I still know which rod to take out of the locker for the wife to enjoy the great outdoors. I'm just saying....

Just believe that some of what you read here is just to get things worked up. Gotta be a little off kilter to really enjoy.
Ah got it.... I actually meant to say that a cribbage board is an excellent way to pass the time while you are drowning your worm.
Hoss: are you talking about fishing? Or romance? Iād suggest a motel room is a far better choice and less expensive If you are not talking about fishing! Just Sayin...RJS
What's romance? How do you fish it? What is the best color?(

Or twitching or wiggling it.
Fast trolling, or deep dropping it.

Deep and fast seems to work after the slow troll.

Come on waine, you don't need a cabin! The wife and I have christened every boat I've ever owned, including 14ft aluminum skiff,12ft jonboat, and a 9ft trihull dingy. You just gotta get away from shore a little.
