It's called a blow toad, puffer. It's absolutely fantastic eating if you know how to clean it. Make a cut on the back just behind the dorsal fin but not through the belly. Grasp the head and strip the skin off of the fish. You end up with a morsel on either side of the backbone/ no rib bones/ that can be cooked anyway you like. Mike

That's in the Pacific species and especially in the western Pacific. The Atlantic species are not poisonous. I've been cleaning and eating them for over 60 years. Mike
