I've never seen a fish like that, but scramble is ROCKBASS. Is it some kind of puffer fish?

It's a blow fish. It has a very small but tasty filet.

Blowfish. As a kid we used to bury our feet in the sand and wiggle our toes. Blowfish would come over to investigate and we would grab them and put them in a bucket. Watch out for those teeth!
Breaded and fried, they are great.
They used to be SO abundant but when pressure treated wood became popular for bulkheads their major food source shrank as did their populations. Wonderful personality for a fish.

Puffer fish. The filet tastes like white meat chicken; in fact, they are called “chicken of the sea”.

I believe that they have poisonous properties if not cleaned correctly. I would do some research. Also I was to that tea made from the dried fins is a hallucinogen!! Don’t try this at home kids!

It is the Northern Puffer Fish and they are a delicacy. There are tricks to cleaning them which you need
to learn in case you run into a bunch of them. Go on line and type in cleaning the Norther Puffer using a
fork and the video that comes up is the best method I have ever seen to clean them. Of course you know
in Japan they are very poisonous. I wish I had that link to send you but I don't. Great eating.
