No Summerfest, nor State Fair this year, nor any of the other festivals due to Covid 19. Oh well, more time for fishinโ€™

Was planning a trip back to visit family in Milwaukee and Oshkosh. Postponed due to virus. Maybe next year if things calm down a bit.

Send me a PM when you know and perhaps we can get together for a beer or a brat, of course!

Will do. My sister-in-law lives in West Allis. We will probably stay with her 2 or 3 nights if we come back. Are you familiar with the Yardarm in Racine? Great fish.

Cool. I have been to the Yardarm, but has been many years.
If you like authentic Spanish Food like tapas and paella, go to Olde Madrid. About 1/2 mile from the Yardarm. Owned by a great friend and former Naval Officer.

Commissary at McGuire AFB carries Dietz and Watson brats. Lot more tastier than the other brand they carry, Johnsonville.

Those look like weisswurst. Those are served for morning break time at our plant in Germany. Very tasty.

I used to get them in Augsburg when I was stationed there. Roach coach came around 10 am and I'd get a coffee and sausage on a little brotchen.

There used to be beer vending machines in the plant, too. For 1 EURO you could get a 1L bottle of beer. They were pulled out 5-6 years ago. I called one of my colleagues to ask if it was true and all he said was โ€œIt was a dark day...โ€

Helped my friend put a trash compactor in the Budweiser brewery in NJ years back. They had a soda cooler filled with beer in the plant's break room. Free for the taking.
