Not to worry, Gordon. I spent 21years of my life in uniform to protect our country and the Constitution.

Like JJ Watt said, If you think that kneeling during the anthem is disrespecting the flag or the military, then you clearly haven't been listening. Its about protesting the treatment of black Americans by racist cops. The constitution of this country gives us that right. As someone who has many military members in my family, they all agree that this is what makes this country different and great. If you don't like to see protesters then take your ass to China or Russia where they kill and arrest and torture people for protesting.

I only said I will not be watching ANY NFL games because of more players kneeling during the national anthem. As you said, it’s my right to feel this way. Not open for interpretation and I’m especially Not interested in your opinion.
I believe 99% of all cops are good cops, good people. Don’t judge all by the actions of a few. Which is what these protestors and the media have been doing.
There’s bad people in every profession. Sounds like you might be the loose cannon in yours.

When you go to work tomorrow kneel down and protest and see how that goes with the company. That is your place of work not the place to protest.
What you do on your own time is your business. The players are there to do their job once they enter that locker room they are on the job.
Its not the visual that bothers some its that they waste other peoples money for their cause.

You r right most cops r good but its the 1% that make it bad for the whole group. If you choose not to watch football, that is your right and I did not fault you for that right .We all live in a free country. We can choose to do whatever we want, but don't fault others for choosing their right to protest. As for the media I have seen hundreds of great stories of the police joining the protesters and agreeing with them because they don't want that reputation either.

If the players did that during the game that would be a problem. They are doing it during the anthem and not wasting any ones time. The games last no longer because of this. And its their right just like its your right to complain about it.

When they enter that locker room its game on. Put on the uniform go over game plans, hit the field, toss the ball and talk strategy. There is no break time for personal vendettas, go back to the locker room and protest there. Or out in the parking lot and make a statement i am behind them in some respect.
But when you get to work it is just that work.

If you don't like it ,don't watch it, that's your right. But I'll bet you a lot of these people who say they are not going to watch football any more will be sitting there every Sunday, beer in hand watching and screaming at the TV and having a blast watching their team.
