Some of the best "old timers" in my box were put out bu Heddon, and they STILL fish well. Caught many a northern pike on these

Heddon and Arbogast, pioneers in the industry. In my mind they not only knew fish they became the fish so as to make our hobby easier and productive and to make their bank deposits much larger.

Regardless of what we call it other than antique. Take it out of the tackle box before big Moe eats it and show it in a display

It was definitely a Heddon Pike Minnow and I believe the smaller was a Heddon runner?? Caught bass, pickerel, and calico, once in a while a large red perch. It was a truly good plug to have several colors of in your fishing bag or box I used the red head/white body, a a shiny sided shiner one, and one that had bluish, black stripes like a mackerel on the sides. Nice swimming ACTION.

Sorry Fly, I misunderstood, confused again. I thought you fished from a bike but you took your bike fishing.

Heddon made the River Runt in several colors and variations. They also made the Little Runt, usually white with a little spinner blade on the end.
I have several of both, still use them once in awhile.
