There are none. Our double didget bass ate them all. Jerry Clower helped also.

LOL. Jerry Clower, that brings back memories! I grew up in East Feliciana, not that far from Liberty MS. Pass through Liberty and East Fork every time we visit and go to the Dinner Bell in McComb. I sure hope the Dinner Bell survives this virus crude!
Jerry was a great guy! Passed entirely too young.

The Dinner Bell is going strong. A landmark. We miss Jerry and many others here. Route 4 Liberty,Ms lives on, as well as a few Ledbetters.

This is kind of a crappie pic of my
2lb 15 1/2 oz, 18 1/2 in. crappie I caught on April 1 2007. Definitely not an April's fool's joke
Made my day.
My adult kids fished with 3 other friends last Saturday evening for 2 1/2 hours and they caught 90 crappie and bluegill.
11 pounds of fillets. We built a new fillet table last week and had to break it in right. 4 of us filleting and had all 90 done in less than an hour. That is using hand knives. Not to bad.

Hey BB, Pretty slick. One of the kids friends is a sheet metal worker and he made a stainless steel sleeve to drop into a 5 gallon bucket. Easy cleanup and we can put 6 people around it.

should'a posted this article, since it came from your neck o' the woods ! This young feller caught himself a nice, big 3-lb. crappie
down in Barlett 's Ferry, Ga. !
Although I'm more of a trout and bass fisherman, I will admit that they're really fun if you hit a
school of 'em; one time, I did just that, and hauled in about 17 fish
in under 30 minutes, and several were near plate-sized fish !

Wow!!! Nice fish Big A.

Those big ones pretty much put up a fight worth remembering. for darn sure.

Best Regards and continued Good Luck. Thanks for the picture!

i hope that you checked your state record on crappie cuz i heard the tale of a father /son team that caught , literally, a new world record largemouth but only brought it home for the family meal that nite.Thet never bothered in seeing if it was, either until a neighbor stopped by and saw the guts and remains of the whopper before it went in the trash.

I caught 12 big Crappie Friday afternoon off my dock. I was going to go in my boat however I threw a line from the dock and brought in 1 & a half ponder. So I just sat on the dock and caught 12 of the biggest crappie I have ever caught from my pond. I keep them in a wire basket in the water. Next morning my Daughter fixed my breakfast and when I started eating she said "Good News, Bad news". I said what . She said two or three of the fish died during the night. Good news, she let the rest loose from the basket. Oh My God what was she thinking. She is an animal lover, owns pet goats, pet chickens, dogs and pet ducks . I said nothing. Her home is right behind the dock of the lake. I decided I love her more than a fish dinner.
