We’re anglers. That’s who and what we are. Good folks!
You probably already have it in your tackle box....WD-40. Besides a lubricant, it works as an attractant.
Use the oil from a tin of sardines.
To avoid the mess pick up a spray can of attractant somewhere. Doesn’t matter what brand or scent. Spray the lure and about 2’ up your line. This should cover your scent.

The oil from sardines is good stuff!
I have 2 or 3 of that rod & reel combo. Think I'll take them to Kansas next year & give them to badbobby.
I'm not for certain sure that any "human scent" makes any kind of difference. I've been fishing my entire life and never spent anything on fish attracting sprays, mixes, koolaid, or used water in the bottom of an old tire. Fishes for me are either going to bite or not.
If I were to choose from the many options described here, my dirty digits whilst fishing is covered over by the minnows, crickets, and worms I have used for bait.
It seems to me that if you have to use some type of fish attracting "magic potion"... you're most likely doing something else wrong whilst trying to catch fish. (OK, maybe I am a purist here, but still)
Just Saying so.
Best Regards and Good Luck!

I am trying to find an oil or something to mix with flavoring to disguise my scent on any lure or plastic. I know what flavors fish usually go for, but what to mix flavors with? Any ideas, please post. God Bless Dan
I’ve never used anything and don’t seem to have a problem catching fish🤷♂️
Thanks for all the wisdom. The wife told me that one more rod and I will be featured on the show horders. Been fishing a state park for Walleye. I don't know how they can take a minnow off a jig with a trailer hook, without any more than a slight bump. But they do. Color doesn't matter, except for the amount of bites. Don't seem to like worms or leaches. Maybe scent????
Give your bait a spray of WD/40.
