Could of paid a Fortune for all those fish caught in Fourchon.👍🏻
Looks like fun and plenty to eat for sure
There’s a limit of 25 per man per day. They were caught near a lighted LOOP structure after sunset on artificial. It is fun and they are delicious. Been there since 88’ so the investment has more than paid for itself.
Hello Lee Ann: When I lived in N.O. I really enjoyed fishing in Breton Sound. Is that close to you? The largest Gar I've ever seen was swimming around out there. Must have been 9 feet, possibly longer! Check out my post entitled Monster Gar. (probably under "search") Great pic of trout. Just Sayin...RJS
That was from me RJS. I don’t know if LeeAnn replied yet. Breton sound is East of the Mississippi And I am west of the river. Caught many a trout in Breton sound area though.

Hi y'all. My name is Lee Ann. I'm pretty new to fishing. I fish from the shoreline, mostly for trout. I'm trying to figure out how spinners, lures, etc. work. Right now I mainly use powerbait.
Welcome Lee Ann! I'm sorry that a bunch of guys jump in your crap about not having a location and exact information your first time on the site. I wish they would get together and designate ONE person to POLITELY inform people what helps to get information you need without having 4-5 people repeat that same mantra multiple times. Just sayin.

New guy from California. I have been reading all your posts over the years. I have been fishing since I was about 10 years old. I mainly fish for trout. I decided to become a member so maybe I can help the beginners with trout fishing. My father taught me how to fish and I would like to pay that forward.
I enjoy seeing all the beautiful pictures you'll post. Take care and stay safe.

Where I am is about 17 min from Gettysburg. If I didn't have a pontoon boat Id fish Cadoris . So I just keep mine at our lake at the dock. Tell ya the truth I fish right from my boat at the slip there is a rock drop off there about 10 yards from my slip goes down about 30 some ft. Do a lazy mans fishing: Bait, cast, sit and sip, repeat LOL all I need is a 60 in lcd tv
