I posted earlier that oklahoma state parks were closed last week, I told it wrong. A lot of our lakes are Corp of Engineers lakes, federal government lakes. Those lakes will have both state parks & Corp of Engineers parks. The Corp parks are all shut down but the state parks are open & the Republican governor says he's going to keep them open. No lakes are closed. It's tough fishing right now because of high water. Good luck

Coon, our awesome Governor has shut down all of our lakes along with the feds shutdowns. I’ll tell ya. Netflix better come up with some new movies or I’m really gonna go nuts. I’m so bored I’m tired of being bored. No bait camps, no launches. Now quit complaining about high water and git to fishin...

jhouck, finally someone gets it. Thank you for showing some common sense. The severity of this virus is not to be taken litely. I remember another enemy we couldn’t see. Just saying,be aware. The fish will be there when we get back to their domain.

excuse me I need to fish now Loc: Puyallup, Washington (near Tacoma)

Actually fishing is closed until 5pm April 8th (not the 6th). But much of the rest of this conversation is correct. The fish and wildlife commission is clearly on the side of the commercials and not the recreational sportsman. Wonder what the allure is...probably cash. Sure wish we could keep politics out of this forum though. That’s not what I am looking for here. I hear enough of that at work.

Hopefully that you will get well soon. Praying that you have a quick recovery. Take care of yourself, then you can get back to catching those good ole bigg ones.

I hear ya, it is crazy to close fishing, that is about all the sport one can do without having to come in contract with another person, hope you find a way to get to the water and fish anyway.

I am very proud of the fact that in the last 48 years I have never missed a vote. That said, I am very sad to say that in all of that time, with one exception, I have never been able to vote FOR anyone, I have always had to vote against someone else.

It all boils down to what the man said when he stepped up to the group of people "hi, I'm with the government & I'm here to help". Squirrel season opens here may 15. That will add enjoyment to a walk in the woods. Turkey season is in April but my wife told me not to bring another one home.
