The only problem with braid is that there is no line stretch
All the shock goes to the rod
More rods break when using braid than any other reason
Granted, it is strong and sensitive but I love the action and feel of fluorocarbon
I appreciate your comment I have to try again to make a better alberta knot to a better and tighter knot.
I usually transfer my braided line to some of my level wind reels and to my open face reels.
