I am in Western New York. I fish Keuka Lake quite a bit. I have a 22" smallie in my freezer, waiting to get it mounted. I especially enjoy fishing at dawn and dusk using the Walking Boss II, or a jitterbug. Also I have a jet boat, so I can paddle into just inches of water.

Hi Lindy, welcome to the stage. The next time you catch a nice fish to mount. Cover it in Borax before it dies and wrap it in a wet shirt or towel. It preserves the color. Makes a big difference. Good luck fishing.

learned this trick from an old tournament fisherman .he always carried a small baggie of baking soda with him after gassing up your truck,& boat running starting engine priming gas tank fooling with the vent on gas tank , first thing he did before putting baits on or fooling with your line tying knots etc... he would wash his hande in water & baking soda .killing the acids of both his hands before touching baits .& he always caught fish every time he went out , how I know because a lot of times I was with him. Believe me this works
