I’ve used both, got them mixed up. Copolymer was what I liked at first and got a bad spool. I used 20lb cxx for some big swimbaits for a while and never had issues other than knots burning when being tightened.

I use braided without a leader 99% of the time and don’t struggle unless it’s 100 degrees for a month in Texas and nothing wants to survive.

Throw the correct setup, line color doesn’t matter.

I have green braid on one rod and yellow braid on two others. Plenty of fish from both colors.

Wasn’t there one time a multi-hued colored line available just to confuse the discriminating fish? RJS

I have used yellow line in clear lake water and fish can care less about the line color because if you have ever seen a fish eye a popper up close you will notice that the bass eyes the bait and can care less about the line color.

I totally agree with the line visible issue the fish aren’t looking to see what color or type line you’re using they are eighter hungry or pissed off and they hit the bait not the line and Fishon Fishon!!!!

Great line for mono uses.
In some environments line color IS very important. Green blends really well. You will be happy with it.

I agree with this, I usually use high-vis cause I am blind as a bat and am a line watcher.

Fellow line watcher here. I use straight 80 lb fluorescent green braid on my jig rod and the same braid in 20 lb on my wacky rig rod and have no issues. I even use bright pink braid on one of my trout/panfish rods and even in gin clear water it doesn't make a difference.

I've always used Trilene Green without any problems. Less visible? Maybe, but how can you really tell? It is consistent and easy to work with. More important is to tie a good knot.

Trilene low visibility (green) is all I’ve used for many years. I’ve never had any problems under normal conditions, primarily fishing for largemouth.
