No issue with green line. A bass will eat anything that moves, line color has never been an issue for me. Though, I usually fish with fluro in most lakes (I like how its almost invisible and sinks while I work bait) unless im fishing for cats or carp, so I can't say toooo much haha

I've seen some underwater line tests and to human eyes, at least, I believe translucent green blends in better than "clear" line. I'm sure water clarity and color make a difference though.

However, as you say, unless your water is gin clear I doubt there will be a perceivable difference.

I agree with this, I usually use high-vis cause I am blind as a bat and am a line watcher.

Fellow line watcher here. I use straight 80 lb fluorescent green braid on my jig rod and the same braid in 20 lb on my wacky rig rod and have no issues. I even use bright pink braid on one of my trout/panfish rods and even in gin clear water it doesn't make a difference.

Agreed! I use the green big game on all the reels I fish mono on. I fish a lot usually will respool once a year and it’s always been reliable.

I've got to say in my experience, unless you're fishing crystal clear water, line color has a negligible roll in catch rate.

Trilene does make some good line!

That's all I use for clear, algae, or tannic water! Fluorescent line in silty water or throwing tubes at smallmouth - they grab them so fast on the drop, it's great to see the line jump!

Big Game is supposed to be great for bigger moving baits such as spinnerbaits buzzbaits, swimbaits, wakebaits and the like. I personally use P-line CXX but Big Game should be a good choice as well 👍

I had 250yds of cxx and lost 6 fish the first time i spooled it up. It was my 3rd or 4th time buying their flouro and i was very upset. I pretty much just use seagur now.

Fluoro? Was it CXX you were using or P-line fluorocarbon? CXX is a copolymer and I do not believe it contains any fluorocarbon.
