How do court stenographers keep a straight face?

I had to go to a jury duty thing once where they chose the jury of however many from like 200 people or more, those lawyers were such a joke, how many different ways can you say the same thing before someone gives the answer you want?

I went in for jury duty and they asked if any one would believe a fireman or police officer over a regular citizen as a witness.
My hand went up and they asked me why?
"Because both of those are in High Stress jobs and they are more likely to be use to lots of stress and high adrenalin levels.
I was eliminated from the jury. LOL
