What's the one piece of advice you wish you had known when you first started fishing?
Advice from my father....... it's not the catching, it's the time spent with family and friends. It's the getting out of town and enjoying nature in all its Glory and learning to just "let it go if only for a few hours".

Another one I say a lot is, "Never leave fish, to find fish."
Try to be on the water when the Solunar Tables show active feeding periods….. and concentrate!
Watch your line.
When I started fishing, I had no idea I would have a "fortune" sitting in my garage. No regrets for sure!!!

Don’t worry about what anyone else is doing, do your own thing.
Bait your own hook.
Tie your own knots.

Hey Rich. JMO, but if you go fishin with the hope/plan to catch fish and you're succeeding, why change what's workin?
If you do and go to a different location, why don't you just call it what it is. You just came out for a boat ride and you don't want catchin fish to interfere with it. I mean, facts are facts. If you go fishin and you're catchin fish why leave for another spot. At least wait till they quit bitin before you move.
