Like it or not, some of us have actually caught and weighed enough fish to accurately estimate an approximate weight by sight. That being said, I’ve seen many professional fishing shows were they’ve caught a 1-1 1/2 pound bass and comment on it as being 4lbs or better. Sounds better to the audience, but really stretching the truth.

When someone unloads there boat and ties it up on the inside of the dock so no one can use the ramp to put there boat in until they go park there truck and get there boat out of the way.

Grandpa I use to think it was crap also.
Then after fishing tournaments for many yr n weighing fish I also got pretty good at estimates
Along with most of the guys.
