What is this.
It's definitely a dolphin. They actually fish by herding bait fish on the bank and then go up and eat them. I've seen it down here on Sawmill Creek, off of the Colleton River (tidal river). In fact, National Geographic did a piece on them several years back in the same area (Colleton/Chechessee rivers). The technique is called fish-kicking or fish-whacking.
Hey Gordon,
The Southern Right Whale Dolphin is one of two dolphins that lacks a dorsal fin. The bottom of that creature has a light botttom towrd the front of the body. However, I think this is a Porpoise!

Ok, did some more digging--it's a New Zealand longfin eel.

Now you got me confused. The crawling catfish video was the same as the one I posted.

That's the one I saw. It was a Jeremy Wade fushing show. He was in New Zealand and had to get special permission to fish where he was. You're not allowed to use hooks to catch them, and there blood is deadly toxic.

At first, thought it could be an otter but with the blow hole, has to be some kind of porpoise.
Ha I was right ask my wife that seldom happens !
