Hello stagers,
Here is a interesting bit of trivia about a very common house plant. It is a felony to harvest this plant in the wild. There are only about 35,000 remaining in its natural habitat. Poaching of this plant can land you up to 29 months in prison and heavy fines.
Which plant 🪴 is it?
Here's a hint.
You can NOT roll it, smoke it or put it in brownies.

I would guess it's the Deadly Nightshade.

We have a plant that I think only grows in parts of South Carolina and North Carolina that is illegal to pick. The Venus's flytrap plants

Good job Gordon,
Yes stagers, because of its very limited geographical area the Venus Flytrap is against the law to harvest in the wild.
It is considered a felony to do so. The fine is several thousand dollars, 29 months in jail or both.
So the correct answer is the Venus Flytrap.
Come to think of it.
I haven't seen Mars Bars on the shelves lately.
Makes me wonder?

Dudleya succulents. In California we had someone that poached many many and he ended up in prison for 2-3 years and a hygh fine. They grow along the coastal range.
