I want to make it just about fishing knots. Where I will tie up and test knots of all different types in all different situations to see what knots you should be using. I'm looking for a good name for the channel. I want this to be kind of like the old Knot Wars where they tested 2 knots each week to finally get a winner, but I want to do it better. This will be the best, most comprehensive knot testing ever done. I bought a push pull force gauge to do my testing with.
So I've been kicking around ideas for the name of the channel and so far I have "Knot Wars Wizard", "Knot Wars 2.0", "The Knot Master" and "Knot Wars Supreme Addition". I plan to test knots on a steady pull, a quick snap, underwater. I will rate them on not only how strong the knot is, but how hard it is to tie as well. Because the worlds strongest knot wont do you any good if you can't tie it. I plan to test out suggestions from my viewers as well. So any thought on a good name and if you like the idea of a master class in knot tying? At the end I will post all the knots and where they placed in my tests, because there are WAY to many guys posting videos saying their knot is the strongest best knot with no proof to back it up
Tnx Fish-N-Fool
They say" build a better mouse trap and the world will beat a path to your door"
Key word better,
Call it " Just One More Knot "

I couldn't agree more with your comment about unsupported "strongest best claims"! I view a lot of rope knot videos and am amazed at how many (20-40%) of them show the knot tied incorrectly (eg, say that they're bowline but tie a cowboy, dutch, Eskimo or something knot even identifiable as a knot; granny sheet bends...).
I would really like see test results for the Anchored Uniknot that I recently posted (
https://www.fishingstage.com/t-80054-1.html ).
If you would like some input on setting up your testing bench then shoot me a PM. I'd be happy to share information from my own rope testing and from the videos that I've viewed and liked.
I would also be very interested in seeing slow motion close up shots of knot failures (even if they were a sequence freeze frames). If this isn't possible then a close up of the post-failure spot would be the next best. This would help with future development of knots.
Best of luck and keep us posted!

You are so right, there are a lot of non expert's out there. Most you-tube videos I take with a big grain of salt. And of course some are great just can't believe all that you see.
Call it:
“KNOT - SO FAST”
(Lee Corso quote
From ESPN)
Keep it simple and to the point, 'knot tester' or maybe 'knot yours', somthing that people can remember. Good luck!
