As far as I know there isn't any in Pickwick yet, but I have heard they are making their way up river, If they're in Kentucky lake it probably won't be long. I'd like to give whoever brought those things here a swift kick in the, use your imagination

Thanks for answering my question Ivey they have been in Kentucky,Barkley, and the Ohio river for quite a few years I have had em jump in the boat and hit me running 40 miles an hour and it is kinda dangerous not to mention the fishing has went downhill for me on those lakes but maybe it’s just me I’m not a pro by no means! Hope they don’t show up down your way and catch ya some more of them big o’l brown fish

Mike I fished a bass tournament in clover port many years ago and always wanted to go and try crappie fishing there after talking to some people that told me it was excellent and it must still be if you’re coming from WV to go there!

It is super good crappie fishing my best friend lives in hallsville ky. It’s about 10 miles from clover creek he owns two pizza shops one in Lewisport and one in Owensboro I just love going to his place it’s the best of both worlds all the pizza I can eat and all the crappie I can catch and we catch a plenty.

Pickwick Lake was showing her teeth today, with all the rain we've had here in southern TN and north AL the past few weeks and 6 more inches expected over the next week they were really moving the water down the Tennessee River, it was up a good 5to 6 foot and heavy current, Made for a hard time just sitting in the boat much less catching them big brown fish. But I did manage to boat this 22 1/4" 6 pound 3 oz beauty. Talk about a fight, this fish burned the line off my reel a good 40 yards down river then made a quick vertical exit from the water a good 3 to 4 foot. when she broke the water that far away in this heavy current I caught myself wondering how in the world will I ever get it back to the boat. My partner for the day did an about face with the boat and the chase was on. After another big jump and a couple more runs we finally led her to the boat. Man,,, Pickwick has some really nice Smallmouth and they fight harder than any other fish I've ever hooked.
