Hello stagers,
This isn't a trivia question, just an opinion.
I was asked today. " Would you eat a ant "?
I had to laugh because I actually have. A missionary from Africa brought some fried ants with him when he spoke at our church. He offered anyone to try them. Myself and one lady volunteered. She spit hers out, but I didn't. He brought his mic over to when I was sitting and asked me to describe it.
" It tastes like a crunchy potato chip ".
I've also eaten crickets. I've had them dipped in chocolate, in cookies and even stir fried.
Here's my question to you. Would you eat a ant, or perhaps even a cricket šŸ¦—

I've actually had scorpions once. I thought they were pretty good.

I suggest riding a motorcycle and smiling, thatā€™s how to do a real taste test.

In JWTC we had to eat all sorts of creatures. ants, beatles, snake, monkey, grubs, raw mud crabs, and pretty much anything else that moved in the jungle. A lot of guys either puked or passed out. I gagged alot but managed to keep it all down.

As an old motorcyclist, I've had quite a few fresh bugs, too!

Donā€™t know what happened to them, but there were ā€œChocolate Covered Antsā€ when I was a kid. Pretty good eating if you like chocolate.

When I was decades younger, I spent some time in South East Asia. Learned to eat a number of critters that arenā€™t typically served in Idaho. Ants, crickets, spiders, snakes and lizards are all sources of protein and none of them taste like chicken.šŸ˜€
