Perfect Manhattan:
1/2 oz. sweet vermouth (use the good stuff - it's worth it)
1/2 oz. dry vermouth (ditto)
1 1/2 oz. good bourbon (Elija Craig, Bulliet, Four Roses (not Wellers or Makers Mark - too light)
Pour over ice, stir well, drain into cocktail (or any) glass. Add olives (because of the dry vermouth)
Most people who make Mahattans use bitters. I don't. I'll drink one - just don't bother to use it.
Flaming doctor pepper
Light beer in 12 oz glass, leave room for a shotglass.
A shot of amarreto with a float of 151.
Light shot and carefully drop it into the beer.
Tastes just like Dr Pepper.

I was looking for a ‘plain’ Bloody Mary; just the basics and this is the one I found that I like, with the exception of the green olive and went lighter on the Tabasco sauce. I bought a shaker as well.
Ingredients
• 1 teaspoon sea salt, or as needed
• ice cubes, as needed
• ¾ cup spicy tomato-vegetable juice cocktail (such as V8°)
• 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger vodka
• 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
• 1 dash hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)
• salt and ground black pepper to taste
• 1 stalk celery
• 2 garlic-stuffed green olives, threaded onto a toothpick
Just put all the liquid and spices together in the shaker with ice. Shake until outside of shaker gets frosty. Then strain through the cap and add your stick of celery and olive if you prefer. Yum 😋

I tried some Peppermint Schnapps and some 1/2 & 1/2 a it tasted like a Peppermint candy 🍬.
However I forgot that I am lactose intolerant and the result smelled like someone dumped on a candycane.

1/2 tomato juice, 1/2 beer a little bit of salt. Can use Clamato or V8 for different flavors. Good stuff

OK, that kind of Red Beer, know that one, thought you guys were talking a brand name.
I think the best Bloody Mary in the world is at the Red Bar on 30-A along the Florida Gulf Coast.
